Vanishing of Schubert coefficients in probabilistic polynomial time

Description
The Schubert vanishing problem asks when a generic intersection of Schubert varieties is empty. In this talk, we present a complete solution of the problem from an algorithmic point of view, by showing that Schubert vanishing can be decided in probabilistic polynomial time. This is joint work with Igor Pak.
