Description

Assuming the Riemann Hypothesis, I will discuss new bounds for negative moments of the Riemann zeta-function, including bounds of the conjectured order for negative $2k$-th moments with $0<k<1/2$, at distances as small as $1/\log T$ from the critical line. An application is an estimate on the average of the Möbius function under RH. I will also discuss the minimum of the modulus of zeta, slightly to the right of the critical line, in short intervals and its connection with an analogue of the Fyodorov–Hiary–Keating conjecture. This is based on joint work with Hung Bui and André Heycock.
