We focus on a family of polytopes, polymatroids, that arose initially in discrete optimization. We present them as deformations of permutohedra and study the parameter space for all deformations. As an application, we show how certain property, Ehrhart positivity, can be proven uniformly for the whole parameter space. Also we show how they show up as Chow classes of subvarieties of the multiprojective space.
