Please join us for a Symposium honoring Professor Angela Cheer's work in Mathematics, Computational Science, Biology, and Fluid Mechanics as well as her contributions to U.C. Davis and the Department of Mathematics at U.C. Davis. The symposium will feature speakers who are leaders in the wide scope of fields that Angela's research has touched on: Mathematics, Art & Education, Analytic Number Theory, Numerical Analysis & Applied Mathematics, Computational Fluid Mechanics, Turbulence, & Computational Statistical Mechanics, Biology, Marine Biology & the Physics of How Organisms interact with each other and their environments, and Computational Biology, Cell Biophysics & Mathematical Biology.
There will be a reception with light refreshments from 3:45-4:15 in the lobby of the Mathematical Sciences Building.
