Inscribed rectangles in Jordan curves

Description
I will report on joint work with Andrew Lobb. We make a construction in Floer theory and use it to show that Jordan curves in the Euclidean plane inscribe a positive measure of rectangles. Our earlier results were about curves with some additional regularity (differentiability, rectifiability), but the main one I will present assumes only continuity. This talk follows up one I gave in this seminar two years ago, but it will be self-contained and focus on more recent work. Paper reference: arxiv:2604.17116
