Description
Braided wiring diagrams are configurations of wires that illustrate the behavior of complex curves. In this talk, we will briefly review a set of equivalence moves on these diagrams called Markov moves. We will also describe how we work in the braid group to classify certain braided wiring diagrams up to this equivalence and use our classification results to obtain classifications of symplectic fillings for links of singularities.
