In the hydrodynamic scaling limit the quantum dynamics of the particle density, velocity and energy density of a Fermi gas with
a short-range pair potential is given by the standard Euler
equations in which the pressure function is the one computed
from quantum statistical mechanics.
This is a preliminary report on joint work with H.T. Yau.
