Student-Run Geometry/Topology Seminar

Speaker: Andrew Hodge, UC Davis
Location: 3106 MSB
Start time: Tue, Feb 19 2008, 1:10PM

The Hitchin system is a algebraically completely integrable system defined on the Higgs moduli space. I will explain what all of those words mean. In the process, we will see spectral curves and the KP system on the Sato Grassmannian.
