Gabor Frames and Complex Interpolation

PDE and Applied Math Seminar

Speaker: Yura Lyubarskii, Norwegian University of Science and Technology
Location: 1147 MSB
Start time: Wed, Apr 29 2009, 3:10PM

The Gabor time-frequency representation became now one of important tools of signal analysis. We will start with a brief introduction to Gabor analysis and then discuss some problems in this area, in particular, stability of such representations. The main attention will be paid to new problems in (1D) complex analysis which arise in response to requests from Gabor analysis.

This is a joint work with Alexander Borichev (University of Marseille) and Karlheinz Groechenig (University of Vienna).
