A Cosmic Central Limit Theorem for Random Compact Sets

Student-Run Research Seminar

Speaker: Michael Casey, Math, UC Davis
Location: 593 Kerr
Start time: Tue, May 30 2000, 3:10PM

I will review the central limit theorem for random compact sets. This theorem applies in Euclidean space and uses the Hausdorff metric. After this, I will present a new central limit theorem that is set in Cosmic space and uses the Cosmic distance.
