Tropical oriented matroids (and triangulations of products of simplices)

Description
I will briefly go over what tropical geometry is and then review
the definition of tropical oriented matroids and triangulations of
products of simplices. Then I will discuss how to walk around a
triangulation and outline a proof that when $n=3$ there is a one to one
correspondence between the triangulations of the product of simplices,
$\Delta_{n-1} \times \Delta_{d-1}$, and tropical oriented matroids with
parameters $(n,d)$.
