Bubbles and Fractal FlowsQMAP Seminar
|Speaker: ||Douglas Stanford, Stanford|
|Location: ||2112 MSB|
|Start time: ||Tue, May 1 2012, 4:10PM|
I will discuss recent work with Harlow, Shenker and Susskind on the effects of nonperturbative physics in eternal inflation. In particular, I will use the tree model of eternal inflation to present "fractal flows": simple mathematical structures that break conformal invariance and generate an arrow of time.
