B- branes (branes in B-model theory of topological strings) can be considered as complexes of coherent sheaves. The talk is about "microlocally" measuring the difference between finite complexes of vector bundles and finite complexes of coherent sheaves . We can imagine this as a categorical version of functions-vs-distributions, and the talk will focus on filling in analogies like functions : distributions :: finite complexes of vector bundles : (bounded) coherent complexes, distributions : microlocalization :: coherent complexes : matrix factorizations distributions : wavefront set :: coherent complexes : ?? If time permits, we'll try to indicate examples of why one would care to do so.
