The structure of rainbow-free colorings in arithmetic anti-Ramsey Theory

Algebra & Discrete Mathematics

In Rainbow Ramsey Theory the existence of rainbow structures is guaranteed under certain density conditions on the color classes. Beyond this approach recent works have addressed the problem of describing the shape of all colorings containing no rainbow structures, also called rainbow-free colorings. In this talk we present some results following this philosophy, showing that the structure of rainbow-free colorings is rather tight.
