It is shown that both 3-body elliptic, or A_2 elliptic Calogero model and BC_2 elliptic model as well as their rational- trigonometric degenerations are equivalent to gl_3 quantum top in a constant magnetic field for any coupling constants. It is described families of coupling constants for which the models admit polynomial eigenfunctions (quasi-exact-solvability).
