In this talk we will look at the structure of random standard Young tableaux with a fixed number of rows as the size of the tableaux goes to infinity. By treating a tableau as a collection of non-intersecting paths, we will draw connections with random matrices, conditioned Brownian motion, and pattern-avoiding permutations.
