The Floer spectrum is roughly a space associated to a rational homology three-sphere coming from studying the solutions to a set of equations called the Seiberg-Witten equations. We will use the Floer spectrum to give some new obstructions to coverings between three-manifolds. This is joint work with Ciprian Manolescu.
