abstract: I will talk about three projects that I have worked on. The
first one is the LattE project as it related to polynomial
optimization. The second is on what I did at SAS Institute over a
summer internship. Finally, the last project is a collaboration with
the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and explores using machine
learning tools for cleaning up medical imaging data.
This is Brandon's exit seminar before graduation this year.
