Fractal patterns and congruence relations in the Taylor expansion of the Jacobi theta function at x=1Mathematical Physics & Probability

I will discuss work in progress at the interface of combinatorics, modular forms and complex analysis regarding the Taylor expansion of a well known special function, the Jacobi theta function, around the point x=1. Curiously, studying this question leads to some interesting fractal patterns.
