General theory of Cherednik algebra

Cherednik algebra, also known as DAHA ( double affined Hecke algebra), is an interesting topic in many different mathematical contexts. I will introduce some general theory of Cherednik algebra from the definitions of root systems, affine root systems and double affine braid groups. The talk is based on Mark Haiman's paper Cherednik algebra, Madonald polynomials and combinatorics.
