A gentle introduction to pseudodifferential calculus

Abstract: My plan is to provide a gentle introduction to pseudodifferential operators on Euclidean spaces, including (Kohn-Nirenberg) symbol class and their quantization, algebraic properties, asymptotic expansion, and mapping properties between $ L^2 $-Sobolev spaces. If time permits, I may discuss the proof of the $L^p$-boundedness of zeroth order operator.
