Maximally supersymmetric gauge theories play a very significant role in string/M-theory. In the talk I'll explain the importance of these theories and formulate some problems. At the following meetings of the seminar M.Movshev will talk about our results on new formulation of maximally supersymmetric gauge theories and on deformations of these theories.
