Invariants of Legendrian Knots

I will talk about contact geometry and, in particular, Legendrian knots. More particularly, I will discuss one algebraic and one geometric (i.e. coming from the diagram of the knot) invariant recently discovered, the first by Chekanov and Eliashberg, and the second by Fuchs and independently by Chekanov and Pushkar. Also, I will mention a result relating these two invariants.
