Geometric crystal of type A^{(1)}_n

Geometric crystal is a notion introduced by Berenstein and Kazhdan. After reviewing this notion, I will explain how it can be used to the studies of Kashiwara's combinatorial crystals by taking explicit examples of type A^{(1)}_n.
