The Schrodinger equation exactly describes the dynamics of any quantum system. However, solving it is practically impossible in case of large number of particles or complex environment. In this talk I give an overview on how to approximate the quantum dynamics by much simpler PDE's in certain limiting regimes. Semiclassical, low disorder, weak-coupling and mean field limits will be discussed.
