Finite dimensional modules for current algebrasAlgebra & Discrete Mathematics

Some different types of finite dimensional modules for current algebras associated to simple complex Lie algebras will be introduced. By proving that Weyl modules are Demazure modules in the simply laced case one get a dimension formula for these Weyl modules, which implies the proofs of some conjectures concerning classical and quantum Weyl modules. By the way one proves, that some Demazure modules are fusion products of "smaller" ones.
