Description
We discuss the set of PDEs satisfied by relativistic higher spin
particles
in cosmological backgrounds. The problem is especially important, since
recent measurements indicate that we live in precisely such a universe.
The new results include new gauge invariances that imply a spectrum
of particle excitations hitherto unknown in flat Minkowski spacetimes.
Explicit solutions imply that the new particles travel at the speed of
light.
