GGAM PhD Exit Seminar: How does uncertainty propagate via transportation equilibrium?

Special Events

Speaker: Ning Liu
Location:
Start time: Thu, Jun 11 2020, 3:00PM

In recent years, people have become more and more
concerned about traffic behavior under uncertain demand. Due to the complexity of the problem, some unverified assumptions often appear in
related research. In this talk, we will provide a method to intuitively
and quantitatively understand how uncertainty propagates under traffic
equilibrium. Also, we will show how to generalize the method from the
linear cost function to more general cost functions which are commonly
used in the study of the transportation equilibrium problem. In the end,
we will discuss some application examples and open questions.
